Does toenail surgery leave any significant scars.?

because I think that I am going to have some of my toenails fixed....also, does it hurt a lot, because so people say it does.

-thank you very much.Does toenail surgery leave any significant scars.?
Mine didn't leave any scars, but my toenails look a little bit different that regular peoples' toenails. The process itself didn't hurt, but they were sore for days after. It's a lot better than having messed-up toenails, I think though.Does toenail surgery leave any significant scars.?
If you are talking about ingrown toenails, it doesn't really hurt like you need medication. But it does trob a bit. The releif is worth it. Some people have the nail grow back which stinks but if they chamically burn the nail bed they usually don't grow back. Some people have bad reactions and the nail falls off. But they are few.
If you are talking about surgery for something like constant ingrown toenails, then yes. Although it isn't so much scarring as your toenail looks kind of funny after wards. Not hideous or anything, but different.
