I know a person that has a toenail and it is red around the bottom of it. It grew puffy and it looks like a bubble. Does the person that I know have an infection or something??? Oh yeah it also sometimes bleeds. ( I know it sound kind of gross)Toenail issues?
It sound like you friend could have an ingrown toenail. This condition or any condition that would look like this will need to be treated by a doctor.
I am a licensed nail technician. Please urge your friend to seek treatment as this will only get worse.
