About ingrown toenail surgeryy?

do you have to wear a cast and have crutches? or can you walk right after it? thanks so much!!!About ingrown toenail surgeryy?
You won't need crutches or anything! Yes, you can walk right after it. They numb you with a shot so that you can't feel what they are doing during the surgery. It doesn't hurt at all! After the numbing effect wears off it may hurt a little bit though. The pain that you feel with the ingrown toenail is far more painful than it will be even after the numbing effect wears off. Once that toenail is removed, you will feel a lot of relief and it will not hurt anywhere near as much as it did before the surgery took place! Trust me, the worst part of the whole procedure is getting the first numbing shot in the beginning. After that you are good to go(=

Good Luck%26lt;3About ingrown toenail surgeryy?
I've had 2 removed in the doctors office. I wouldn't call it surgery though. Yours may be more severe though. Anyway if it's done in office like mine, the shots completely numb your toe, and then part or all of your toenail is cut out, depending on the severity. It sounds horrible, but you don't feel a thing, just don't watch the doc work.

when the numbness wears off your toe will be a little sore, but it will be a relief compared to the ingrown toenail. I pitched a seven inning baseball game 2 hours after one of mine. You'll walk right out, and no crutches will be needed.
In my experience you can pretty much walk right out of there. They'll probably just numb the toe with a couple injections, wrap it up and send you on your way. But beware, because when the feeling comes back, that's when it will start to become quite painful, but it's nothing too bad :)

Good luck! xx
BS i had my friend a DR of padietry numb my toe take a knife ? and trim cut under nail and then pull off easy then put an acid in the corners so nail wont grow back. till this day all is good i had no problem right after no pain at all and you dont even know its gone later.
