Diabetes. One of my toenails is turning a greenish yellowish color what should i do?
It is likely fungus.Toenail fungus causes disfiguration and discoloration of the nails. It is a contagious disease and some times it may be hereditary.

You may get affected by the toenail fungus in damp areas such as public gyms, shower stalls or swimming pools. Toe nail fungus can spread from one toe to another or to other body parts. Athletes and people who give trauma to their toe by wear tight-fitting shoes or tight hosiery are at great risk of toe nail fungus. Other reasons may be abnormal pH level of the skin, not drying off the feet thoroughly after bathing or exercise, and decreased immunity.

Home Remedies

Tea tree oil is a potent natural antiseptic and fungicide that will help fight your fungus. Apply undiluted tea tree oil with olive oil to the affected toe nail. Alternatively you can put few drops of tea tree oil on toenails and rub it thoroughly every day.

Soak your toes in Listerine mouthwash. The powerful antiseptic leaves your toe nails looking healthy

Diet for Toe nail fungus

Diet plays a very vital role in curing any ailment. People suffering from toe nail fungus should include more probiotics 鈥?good bacteria, in their diet. This will help your body to get rid of the fungus. Yogurt and kefir are good sources of probiotics. Reduce intake of refined carbs like sugar, dairy products and vinegar. Olive leaf extract is an excellent internal anti-fungal agent. If you notice this fungus occuring frequently it might be a good idea to adjust your diet (and possibly see a doctor :)

Suggestion for Toenail fungus

Wash your feet after visiting public places like swimming pools

The fungus thrives in warm moist areas like spas, swimming pools, showers or locker rooms. If you step on a warm puddle or floor, you can pick up the infection. After using such public places, it is ideal to wash your feet thoroughly and dry them well.

Wear cotton socks

Wear cotton socks to absorb moisture from the feet that happens from sweating

Dry your feet

If your socks are damp, take them off and dry your feet before wearing a fresh pair of dry socks.

Do not share linen with affected people

Avoid sharing towels, washcloths, shoes or any other personal items of those people who have already contracted this disease

Trim nails and avoid nailpolish

Keep your nails cut short, and don't use nail polish. Trim your toenails regularly. Trim them into a straight line and then smooth the edges with a nail file.

Good Luck!
seee a foot nail specialist because they will know what to do

they will either give uu medicine for ur toenail or they will have to remove itt

most time u get this when uu get hurt or so

just keep cutting ur toenail as it grows and that is another way to get rid of funguss

seee a nail doc. like anywhere wheere uu can get ur pedicure donee
Have you hit your toe really hard on something or something like that? That's happened to me before, it's just bruised so just leave it alone. If it turns black don't worry. If that's not what happened then I dunno.
This is probably not something you need to go to the emergency room for, but you do need to have a doctor check it out asap.
Yes, but first make sure it's fungus. There's plenty of medications to treat that though, from drugstore products to expensive treatment creams doctors give you.
you have to not put nail polish on it for a while (assuming u paint ur toenails) and let it grow out. if thats not the cause than i have no clue, sorry
go to the doctor.

if its a fungus or infection it can only get worse.

ask your doctor about it as soon as possible.
it can be a sign of diabetes. But you should go to a doctor to get it checked.
Ask your physician if he or she can refer you to a podiatrist. (a foot doctor)
Have a doc look at it, I'm sure there is some cream you can put on them... unless they need to be removed
ask your doctor or if u get nervous just look for creams apply them and let it fight out or something
go to the doctor it could be a fungus
WHAT DID YOU DO! i'd see a doctor as soon as possible that sounds bad...
go see a doc
suicide O.O...............lolz jk just ask ur doc
