Toenail fungus.....any cures that actually work??

I would recommend taking Shaklee's Optiflora. This two-product system includes Probiotic (Bifidus %26amp; Acidophilus...microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS...food source for microflora). Patented guaranteed delivery of 500 million microflora to the intestines. So many times because of what's going on internally will manifest itself in some way externally such as toenail fungus.

Others have been successful in getting of their toenail fungus by using this product.

Try anti-fungal creams like Daktarin from the pharmacy.Toenail fungus.....any cures that actually work??
DON'T USE THE CLOROX! Someone suggested using it, DON'T!! It is NOT good for you! If you do use it, it will burn! It may even eat up your skin!!
Use 100% tea tree oil , clean and dry toe nail with hair dryer

then put two drops on nail three times daily until fungus is gone.
My mom has had toe nail fungus for years. She and I are taking all-natural liquid vitamin and mineral supplement and she noticed it is clearing up her toe nail fungus.
I wouldn't suggest lamisil in the pill form unless it is a major case of fungus and other treatments have failed. A months supply of lamisil (30 pills) costs well over $400 without insurance and most insurances don't cover it. There are some cheaper prescription only drops that the doc could prescribe but even these are over $100 dollars. I would suggest you try an anti-fungal cream like clotrimizole ( i think I spelled that right), or lamisil cream. Best thing to do if you want to avoid the doc and fees is to ask your local pharmacist. They know more about meds than doctors do most of the time anyways.
Rub Vic's VapoRub onto your nail every night - make sure to get it on the cuticle and under the nail. Every morning, clean off your nail with Tea Tree Oil on a cotton ball. This worked for me with 2 weeks.
Toenail fungus is a form of candida albicans (yeast overgrowth) which can be killed by a number of anti-fungals.

Natural anti-fungals include

* fresh, raw garlic

* caprylic acid (from unprocessed virgin coconut oil)

* oregano oil

* pau d'arco tea (make a strong infusion)

If you wish to deal with this more rapidly, ask your naturopath for a prescription of * Nystatin (powder or ointment).
I only use 100% natural products on my skin. I would apply Nui (brand) of coconut oil. It does work, yes it is expensive, but do you want to get rid of the fungus once and for all? Then this is the way to go. Good luck.
My dermatologist said there is a pill he could prescribe that would cure the fungus. He did not recommend it as could cause

permanent liver damage and it was also very expensive and not covered by some insurance. He gave me some drops to put on the fungus. It took a while but it did get rid of it. Sorry, I don't

remember the name.
use an emory board on the infected nails, right on top, then put clorox direcly on the nail, don't get clorox on the skin, do every day. I used to have it. Notice I said used to
Use white vinegar in a spray bottle ... and scrub with baking soda ... every day before bath or shower. Use baby oil or cream during the day. This takes a while. The infected nail has to grow out ... the idea is to keep the new nail from getting infected.
Lamisil is the only thing that works and you have to get your blood tested to make sure your liver can take the medication. Do not believe any over the counter stuff. They just don't work!
