I have a really horrible engrowing toenail. It hurts all the time and every time i knock it it starts bleeding, Its infectedand it is bright red and real sore. And i'm scared that i'm going to get blood poisoning. I've been having pains through my foot. I've been to the doctors and i have tablets, but they don't seem to work. How do i know if i have blood poisoning, and how can i prevent it getting worse? xEngrowing Toenail? Infection?
the chances of you getting Blood Poisoning are very very remote so don't worry about that also remember that tablets don't work at once chances are you have been given an antibiotic and they work gradually just keep it as clean as possibleEngrowing Toenail? Infection?
You need to have the toenail removed (the section that's ingrown--not the whole thing!) Go back to, or call your doctor, and ask for a referral to a podiatrist, who'll take care of it for you.
