Ingrown toenail?

What can i do other then going to get the 5min surgery for my ingrown toenail?Ingrown toenail?
Not much. If it is really bad you will need to get it done, bro.

About the only thing you can do is soak it in warm water mixed with epsom salts. It will help draw the infection out, and soften the skin around the toenail.

When the skin is soft, you can try to use a pick or something to help get the nail from under the skin that it has grown into.

What happens in an ingrown toenail is a slight hook appears on the end of your nail if you trim it too close to the sides. You have to get the hook out from there. It is digging into the skin, and while trying to continue to grow, it ends up growing into your toe. OUCH. I have had several like that, until I finally went and had the procedure. Now I know how to trim them correctly, preventing them from happening again.

Good luck,

Those are a pain, aren't they? Try soaking your foot in warm water each night and not wearing constricting shoes. That helped me a lot.
