no bandaid or anything.

dr scholl has this thing which softens the nail. get that. it won't hurt anymore because its soft and won't dig into your skin.

if you can't find dr scholl then get any other brandIngrown toenail? help!?
Soak your foot and see if you can cut the nail where it is grown into the skin.

Try to pick up some athletic socks that are absorbent, so you can wear them when you are playing volleyball. When you are done playing volleyball, take your volleyball shoes off and wear a pair of flip-flops or sandals so your feet can air out. It might be helpful to maybe wipe them so they are a little dryer with your socks before wearing sandals.

Also-- I have heard that to help prevent ingrown nails, cut them across in a straight line with only a little bit of rounding on the corners.

Hope this helps!
I myself have been a victim to these nasty ingrown toe nail. I would go get them removed by your doctor. They numb the toe where the ingrown toe nail is at and very carefully the doc cut the toe nail. In some cases they pull out the whole nail so you wont have to worry about ingrown toe nails...that is up to the patient if they want it done.

Just soak your feet in warm water and carefully pull the skin back from the ingrown toe nail and clip the nail itself...they have special toe nail clippers for toe nails and ingrown toe nails.
soak you foot in hot water and there is a special type of salt sorry cant think of the name and put it in the hot water that always helps me but do it at least a couple of times.....Morgan
