Toenail problem, please help?

I have a toenail that is partly yellow in color, and rather thick. I cut out part of the yellow toenail part and fond out that i have another toenail or something ( i am not sure what it is ), growing underneath. What is it and help!Toenail problem, please help?

All you guys fail. I didn't take any medicine and it went away after 3 months. So take that you doctor-loving, worrywart fools!!!

ok coming from a Cosmetologist who studied alot about different toe nail infections and everything it sounds like you have a bad infection your best bet would be and I know this sounds dumb but to take Listerine the yellow kind and stick it under the nail and see if that takes care of the infection if not go to the doctor and get put on a prescription and it will take about 6months to a year for it to go away.
It sounds like a nail fungus. You should see a doctor about it before it spread to your other toes. Nails that are fungal usually turn yellow and become thick. See a doctor, home remedies usually don't work.
I think you need to have it looked at. If it is an infection, it can spread to your other toes. See a dr.
