ok so its been a while since part of my big toenail fell of and today i just took the other part of the nail off. But my part of my nail has the hardness top covering and the other is just skin! so i know its supposed to take forever for everything to grow back, but do i need to take the hardness part off or just wait?????My toenail fell off...what to do?? HELP!?

Nothing you can do but wait it out. The nail bed will thicken and get tough to protect itself, but eventually, a new nail will grow. It can take quite a while though.
