My big toenail has been slightly raised and green and now it is slit 1/4 of the way on the bottom what do i do?

it's a fungus, get a doctors appointment, it's nearly impossible to cure it at home
It is definitely an infection, possibly a fungal infection. If the problem is just with the nail and the toe itself is not painful or discolored, you should see a board-certified dermatologist immediately.





If you have cut or injured your toe and the entire area (not just the nail) is inflamed, painful, and/or discolored, see your family doctor immediately or go to the emergency room of a well-respected teaching hospital near you. I don't know where you live, but I am talking about places like UCLA, Stanford University Hospital, Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, the University of Virginia Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic, etc.
